What is Wabash Market, Inc.?

Wabash Marketplace, Inc.
....was founded in 1981 to take a lead role in the revitalization of downtown Wabash, Indiana. In the last 20 years the leaders and members of Wabash Marketplace, Inc. have worked tirelessly to accomplish some major goal and projects.

Among those accomplishments:

• Receipt of a $500,000 grant for Phase One of the Wabash Streetscape project.
• Receipt of a $550,000 grant for Phase Two of the Wabash Streetscape.
• Receipt of two NAP Grants for renovation of the Webb and National Block Buildings.
• Creation of a third National Registry Historic District.
• Implementation and management of the Very Berry Strawberry Fest.
• Encouraging improvement of downtown storefronts.
• Membership in Indiana Main Street
• Membership in Historic Landmark Foundation of Indiana.
